This is the sewing pattern for the "Anna" Hipster Panty. Anna is a hipster style panty that fits below the waist. Use a Cotton or Bamboo Spandex blend for a cute look or make it in all lace for a romantic look.
Variations: Using lace instead of fabric. How about a lace waistband!

*Highly recommend testing this pattern, using a similar fabric for fit adjustments, before starting your project.
Materials Needed (all materials can be found in our store!):
1/2 yard of knit fabric with spandex (18 inches) 54” or wider
If using printed fabric or anything different than knit jersey
fabric for the panty, add a 9” x 9” piece of light weight cotton
jersey fabric for the gusset lining (organic cotton recommended).
2 yards 1/2“ picot elastic (for the waist)
2 yards 3/8” picot elastic (for the leg opening)
1 bow (embellishment)
Other Notions:
Stretch or ball point needle size 70/11.
Fine straight pins or fabric clips.
Scissors for trimming. Scissors for fabric. Scissors for paper.
Recommended: Textured Nylon Thread (for the Bobbin only)
color to match the fabric (I suggest Maxi Lock). This will provide
strong, flexible stitches.
All-purpose thread color to match fabric (suggested: Gutermann Mara 120) .
Tape to mark the machine temporarily, masking or decorative (do not use clear tape).
See listing photo for Stitch Love Studio Size Chart. Note: Size Chart is for body measurements. This pattern has negative ease to accommodate for the stretch in the fabric. Following the suggested stretch percentage when choosing the fabric is critical to achieve the right fit.
